AI assistants
Goal
Use BlueMatrix AI helpers on your tenant data — search and insights, capture interactions into reviewable actions, and turn photographed bills into purchase documents — without silent posting.
Who it is for
Staff with the ai_assistant module and the matching permission for each surface (ai.use, interaction.view / action.review, document_scan.view). Admins use AI assistant setup (ai.admin).

Preconditions
- Module ai_assistant enabled.
- Token budget / residency rules may block tools when exhausted or not permitted.
- Action execution still needs the underlying domain permissions (e.g. sales, calendar, purchasing).
Hard stops
- Monthly AI token budget exhausted or residency not permitted → tool calls fail.
- Approving actions without domain permission or with blocking validation → stays pending / fails execution.
- Document scan apply/post needs purchasing (and related) permissions.
